He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Collins and Cordelia Collins; his siblings, Jimmy, Raymond and Judy; and his grandson Dillon Ayres.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Stacy Bloom (Michael) of Denton, TX and Lori Ayres of Broken Arrow, OK; his grandchildren, Ashton Ayres of Castle Rock, CO, Rachel Bloom of San Angelo, TX and Anna Bloom of Denton, TX; and his brother Mike (Becky).
