He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie B. Acreman and Florence Elizabeth Acreman (Stone); his wife Linda Acreman (Lamb); his siblings, Paula Elaine Acreman and Ollie Edward Acreman; and his son Raud Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Lanette Marcellus (Paul), Robert Acreman (Jackie), Mark Nelson, Sheryl Robinson (Jack) and Todd Nelson (Andrea); and his siblings, Ernest Acreman, Earline Sutton and Elizabeth Coker. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
