He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley J. Brannan and Myrtle D Brannan (Ramey); his wife Nora Geneive Carter; his child Shirley Balentine; his grandchildren, LaDeana White, Richard Strong and Ronnie Balentine; his great grandchild Rj VanZant; and also Jerry.
He is survived by: his friend Bill Bowling; his children, Tamira Thompson, Terry Estes, Deanna Pogue, Delores Zeiher and Wayne Young; his daughter-in-law Lynda Houchin; and his grandchildren, Kelly, Terry, Maggie, Donny, Rachel, Logan, LaDonna, Jerry Dean (Sandy), Angela, Jeff (Christy) and Kayla (Justin). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home (108 W Delaware St, Cleveland, OK 74020). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
