She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward and Tennie Matilda Carter (Taylor); her husbands, Lewis Tisher and Gene Ross; her brothers, Bobby Joe Carter and Cletus Gilbert; her daughters, Teresa Lay and Rhonda Cavin; and her grandsons, Ryan Huff, Christopher Zickefoose, Liam Lynch and Terry Wayne Monforte.
She is survived by: her children, LaVerne Smith (Harvey) of Cleveland, Sheila Huff (Alan) of Cleveland and Diann Monforte (Terry) of Cleveland, Oklahoma; her son-in-law Preston Lay of Cleveland; her sister Lela Inderlied of Fairview, Texas; and her grandchildren, Tara Dale of Euless, Molly Parks, Trapper of Broken Arrow and Jennifer Zickefoose of Sand Springs. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous friends.
