She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter and Helena; her husband Denzil Eugene Acklin; and her sisters, Martha Boswell and Roberta "Bobbie" Dawe.
She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Ayers and Larry Ayers; her children, Ron Acklin and Cheryl Valentiner; her grandchildren, Jason, Leslie, Josh, Sara, Lori and Brian; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Dustin, Austin, Liam, Mason, Michael, Amya and Phoenix; and her great great grandchildren, Blaklei and Brody.
