He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Hinds and Minnie Eletha Clark Hinds; his wife Joyce Carol Hinds (Brunson); and his siblings, Raymond Hinds and Pauline Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanette Cowan (Bob) of Claremore, OK, Robert Hinds (Lisa) of Collinsville, OK, Cindy Bland of Claremore, OK, Brent Hinds (Marie) of Catoosa, OK, Tim Hinds (Lisa) of Turner, OR, Nick Hinds of Tulsa, OK, Leona Hinds of Claremore, OK and Chip Hinds (Mary) of Tahlequah, OK; and his sister Lavetta Hinds Riggs Brunson. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rice Funeral Service (631 E Will Rogers Blvd, Claremore, OK 74017). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at the Church of God Seventh Day.
