She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Mowery and Herschel Mowery; her husband Don; and her sisters, Norma Talley, Vonda Zimmerman and Melba Burger.
She is survived by: her brothers, Kenneth Smith and Bob Green; her children, David Meredith of Broken Arrow, Debbie Mattingly of Suffern, Daniel Meredith of Claremore and Dean Meredith (Jill) of Broken Arrow; her grandchildren, Melissa Meredith, Kristina Fensler (David), Nathan Meredith (Erin), Meagan Gilliam (Matt), Andrew Meredith (Kim), Creasey Lawson (Keith) and Hannah Meredith; her siblings, John Mowery (Ann) of Owasso, Janet Hill of Evansville and Lois Patton (Ed) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois.; and also Paul Purifoy. She is also survived by Eight Great grandchildren.
The family requests memorial contributions be made in Vera's memory to the Owasso Baptist Children's Home, 1200 East 76th Street North, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055.
