He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Cooksey and Donna Cooksey (Conlin). He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney Blevins (Quinton) and Elizabeth Cooksey (Stephen Rogers); his grandsons, Harrison and Chapman Blevins; his sisters, Joyce Washburn and Pamela Walker (Ronnie); and his close friend Catherine Cooksey.
