It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patty Lue Rather of Claremore, Oklahoma, born in Vinita, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wilford and Erma Jane Copeland (Parks); and her siblings, John Copeland and Velma. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Rather; her children, Michelle LaBenz (Jim) of Arlington, Texas and Stephen Rather (Amy) of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Veronica Holt (Todd), Nathan LaBenz (Lauren), Dylan Rather-Tugmon (Audrey), Kyle Rather-Tugmon (Kayla) and Danny Rather; her great grandchildren, Landry and Emmie Holt; and her siblings, Charles Eugene Copeland, Matthew Copeland, Bill Copeland, Carl Copeland, Rosetta Copeland and Mary Jane Copeland.
