She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Matthews and Ellen Matthews (Goos); her husband John Kirk; and her sons, John Robert Kerr and James Warren Kerr.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Hayes (Joseph); her grandsons, Christopher and Samuel Hayes; her siblings, Sharon Matthews and Calvin Matthews; and her pet Patches. She is also survived by her family and friends.
