She was predeceased by: her parents, C. T. Nevels and Alva Florence Nevels (Shelley); her stepmother Jaunita Nevels; her son Carl Jeffery Briggs; and her siblings, Theodore Nevels (Ted), Betty Rich and Dolly Wright.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Briggs; her daughter Carla Lynch (Scott); her grandsons, Grayson Lynch (Maddie), Connor Lynch (Hannah), Harry Lynch (Aspen) and Joe Lynch; and her great grandchildren, Theo Lynch and Hazel Lynch. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (901 S Faith Ln, Claremore, OK 74017).
