He is survived by: his wife Frances Phillips; his children, Richard Rice (Debbie), Randy Rice and Sherry Kirkpatrick (David); and his grandchildren, Ryan Kirkpatrick (Nikki), Rachel Maduro (Jayson), Kale Kirkpatrick, Erin Kirkpatrick, Hollie Strickland (Joshua), Randi Rice and Savanah Cambron (Jacob). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
