It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Virginia Douthitt (Claremore, Oklahoma), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Major Albert Logan Douthitt (A. L.); her parents, Robert Maley and Helen Maley of Miami, OK; and her siblings, Jack Maley (Letha) of Kansas City, KS, Bob Maley of Miami, OK and Jean Ann Speegle of Maumelle, AR..
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Lyon Speegle, Jon Douthitt, Sharon Douthitt and Mary Ann Heck of Claremore, OK. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her memory be made to Breast Cancer Research, the Alzheimer's Foundation or to the First Christian Church of Midwest City.
