He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew "Pete" Nichols and Estelle Nichols (Dollins); his stepfather Groff Evans; his brother Gary Wayne Nichols; and his daughters, Patricia Ann Colston and Janice Lea Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Walker of Claremore; his daughter Terri Elaine (John) of Owasso, OK; his grandchild Glenn David; his children, Diana Thurmond (Raymond) of Altus, OK and Glenn Nichols (Stacy) of Claremore, OK; and his grandchildren, Mitzi Flynn (Jonathan), Rachel Colston, Steven Houdek (Erica), Daniel Houdek, Matt Thurmond (Micah), Reese Thurmond (Katy), Brandon Wyatt, Eric Wyatt (Faith), Bradi Hulse (Mitch) and Andrew Nichols.
