He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Raymond Cope and Agnes Evie Cope (Lord); his granddaughters, Rachel LeAnne and MacKenzie Agnes Cron; and his siblings, Raymond, Donald, Harvey, Clifford Cope, Enda Mae Bodine, Joanne Ash and Dolly Sue Kratz.

He is survived by: his children, Frank Eddie Cope Jr. (Jennifer) and Rebekah Faye Cope; his wife Peggy Faye Hobbs; his grandson Zac Cron; and his brother Kenneth Cope (Shirley). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
