He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Eston and Esther Gail West (Husselton); his wife Sharon Kay Carr; his daughter-in-law Sandy; his brother-in-law Ed White; and also Ted West.

He is survived by: his sons, Jody West (Melinda) and Dan West; his grandchildren, Savannah West, Justice Chambers (Michael), Koby West and Ayden West; his great grandchildren, Axel Chambers and Everly Chambers; and his sister Joy White. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
