He is survived by: his children, Charles Kirkendall (Lennon Kirkendall) and Erica Kirkendall (Jeff Pierson); his grandson Charles Henry Pierson; his friend Cynthia Hardman; and also, Roy Kirkendall, David Kirkendall and Dale Kirkendall.
