He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Anderson and Link Anderson; his wife Grace; his daughter Wendy; and his great grandchild Ambre.

He is survived by: his children, Sue, George Oats, Colleen, Dennis Smith, Chris and Randy Scott; his grandchildren, Sean Oats, Teresa Sikorski, Ryan, Ashlee Scott, Cassie, Patrick Oats, White, Zachary, Kinnidy Abitz, Garrott Scott and Parker Russell; his sister Patricia Bender; and his great grandchildren, Addison Scott, Ryder Scott and Kelvin Abitz. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
