It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Edwin Argo in Claremore, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Henry Clay Argo; his wife Julia Archer Argo; his mother Elizabeth Susan Adkins Argo (Adkins); his daughter Naomi Ruth Crockett; his siblings, Herman Argo, Ivan Argo, Earl Argo, Fannie Belle Nell and Muriel Argo Ray; and his daughters-in-law, Christy Argo and Debi Argo.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby (Nita Argo), Jay (Rhnea Argo), Edwina (Danny McKee), Elton (Donna Argo) and Edna Argo; his grandchildren, Jaime Kons, Jason (Lulu Argo), Timothy (Elizabeth Argo), Angel (Jerry Sherrell), Jared (Becky Argo), Calli (Josh Sparkman), Josh (Jessica McKee), Jamae (Don Ramsey), Logan (Ashlee Argo) and Kayla Argo; his great grandchildren, Dason, Katelyn Sparkman, Calvin Kons, Sierra Kons, Savana Kons, Bethany Argo, Kamryn Argo, Jordan Argo, Triniti Argo, Paris Argo, Ashlie (Damion Rodriguez), Charity Argo, Jachin Argo, Lincoln McKee, Isla McKee, Zoee Smith, Slayte Smith, Sawyer Argo, Jack Argo and Waylon Argo; his great great grandchildren, Dason Sparkman, Katelynn Sparkman Deanna Rodriguez and Amara Rodriguez; his sister-in-law Laura (Don Staggs); and his nephew Larry (Linda Argo). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Calvin will be remembered for his unwavering faith, dedication to his family, and contributions to his community.
