He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Scott and Juanita Scott (Hinsley); and his son Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jean McCarty; his children, Natalie Welch (John) of Claremore, Oklahoma, Jennifer Gibson of Franklin, Tennessee and Greg Gibson (Laurita) of Clarksville, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Clifton Gibson, Sarah Benefield and Grant Benefield (Allyssa); and his great grandchildren, Averi Benefield, Hayden Benefield, Kyeynn Benefield, Macyn Rollins and Darla Gibson.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (310 S Nome Ave, Claremore, OK 74017).
