He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Grossman and Lena Grossman (Green); and his brothers, Alvie Jr., Fred, Frank and Johnny Ben.
He is survived by: his wife Karin Burwell; his children, Sherry Alexander (Johnny), Shelly Heist, Trey Scarsdale, Patricia Fuhrman, Ben Brown and James Grossman (Stefanie); and his siblings, Bill Grossman and Loretta Gates. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Mark Catholic Church in Pryor or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
