It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Jean Dawson of Chouteau, Oklahoma, born in Vinita, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shaffer and Norma Shaffer (Moyer); her husband Larry Ray Dawson; and her brother Richard Shaffer. She is survived by: her children, Robert McAhren, Jay McAhren and Neesa Cox; and her brothers, Larry Shaffer and Doug Crawford. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
