In loving memory of Joseph Dale Cowan of Chouteau, Oklahoma, who departed this world on May 16, 2024 at the age of 89. Joseph Dale leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cowan and Valeria Cowan; his sisters, Laurita Cowell and Barbara Jones; and his daughter Elizabeth Jan.

He is survived by: his wife Janie Lee; his sons, Forrest (Nina) of Tulsa and Greg of Houston, TX.; and his grandchildren, Joe Michael Jones, Joe Roy Cowan (Libby), Jonathan Jones (Kira), Annie Morris (Dan) and Mary Wheeler (Franklin). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Dale's name to the Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Wagoner.
