He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred A. Machen and Mary J. Machen (Hardin); and his siblings, Casey, Doug, Pete Machen and Lillian Machen.
He is survived by: his wife Lova; his son Gary Machen (Deborah) of Corona; and his sister Lura C. Lynch of Menifee. He is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.
