She was predeceased by: her parents, Christiane André and Paul Laurent; her brothers, Max André and Claude Laurent; and her daughter Baby Patricia.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Echard, Natalie LaRocque-Bouchard, Brigitte McMillian and Sabrina Hall. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Paula's honor to Free to Live Animal Sanctuary or the Humane Society, as a tribute to her lifelong love for animals and her compassionate heart.
