She was predeceased by: her husband Herb Rakestraw; her son Jerry; her grandson Jimmy Ray; her parents, Marvin Cargile and Gwen Cargile; and her brother Charles Cargile.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Thompson (Brian), Cindy Kerns (Eric), Robert Scritchfield (Dezette) and Steve Scritchfield (Kathy); her sister Jonnie Kennedy; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Cargile. She is also survived by 21 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hibbs Funeral Home (2190 Harper St, Choctaw, OK 73020).
