He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Groves and Barbara Groves; his brother Mike Groves; his mother-in-law Jo Keesling; and his niece Danielle Clarke.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Groves; his sons, Dustin Strube and Darrick Strube (Shannon); his grandson Desmond Strube; his father-in-law Don Keesling; his siblings-in-law, Diana (Bob Clarke) and Doug (TJ Keesling); his sister Pat Groves Peabody; his sister-in-law Jackie Groves; and his nieces and nephews, Chris (Amy Groves), Jennifer (Will Ross), Adam (Elisa Peabody), Chase, Colby, Opal (Elsie Keesling), David Clarke, Cassidy Groves, Jack Groves and Tennyson Ross (Trey Solomon).
