It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Durant of Choctaw, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Samis and Adeline Baker Samis; her husband Mitchell Durant; her children, Corey Durant and Lorinda Durant; and her siblings, Edwayne Samis, Dowayne Samis, Leroy Samis, Alex Baker and Linda Samis.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Impson (Chris) of Durant, OK; her siblings, Eddie Samis of Arkansas, Billy Paul Samis of Soper, OK, Doretha Gonzales of Hayward, CA and Juanita Bailey of Calera, OK; and her grandchildren, Mason Dancer (Lindy), Mitchell Dancer, Madison Dancer, Isabel Ramirez, Ashlee Kanatzar (Jared), Bailey Gross (Krys) and TJ Impson.
