He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Young and Derotha Lee Young; his wife Martha Ann Floyd; his daughters, Sheila Baker and Marilyn Gay Young; his brother Rusty; his sister-in-law Carolyn Young; his brother Jodie; and his sister-in-law Judy Young.
He is survived by: his son Rodney Young of Chickasha; his grandsons, Jason Baker of Chickasha, Brandon (Abby Baker) of Noble, Oklahoma and Clayton Baker of Slaughterville, Oklahoma; and his friend Vonnie Davidson.
