He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Welch and Ethel Welch (White); his wife June; his sister Charlotte Welch Henson; his stepdaughter Brenda Hershey; and his niece Sherri Messer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Keener (Joe) and Dedra Welch (Jennifer Pierce); his stepdaughters, Vicky King (Danny) and Susan Milam (Bobby); his granddaughters, Ethel Morris and Faye Morris (Logan); his siblings, Jane Swalley (Harvey Joe), Gene Welch and Walt Welch (Patty); his nephew Robin Henson (Angela); his nieces, Sabra Bischop and Barbara Welch (Jean); his stepgrandchildren, Kaydee King (Ben Kadavy), Colby King (Lacie), Lindsay McDaniel (Aaron) and Casey Milam (Katherine); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Edith June King, Cason, Parker McDaniel, Maxwell and Marley Milam; his great-nephew Raylon Welch (Kasandra); and also, A'Drien Welch and Patti Wilson.
