She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Paul Brown and Orlin Melinda Brown (Tappin); her husband Charles Edward Akins; her brother Sonny; her sister-in-law Nola Brown; her brother Jim Brown; and her brothers-in-law, Anthony Luchetti and Bill McCarn.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne, Andrea Akins of Del Norte, Colorado, Doug and Kathy Plummer of Chickasha; her siblings, Rose Lucchetti (Duke Waters) and Dan; her sister-in-law Ramona Brown of Ukiah, California; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew Troub) of Chickasha, Jessica (Gary Williams) of Chickasha and Cheyanna (Scott Teague) of Owasso; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Troub, Emma Williams, Samuel Troub, Elijah Teague, Rachel Troub, Lillian Teague, Easton Williams, Ezekiel Teague and Micah Teague. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
