She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carpenter and Katherine Pendleton (Munsey); and her siblings, Ruby Albright, Betty Alders and Roy Carpenter.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Harris; and her children, Clyde "Skeeter" Harris (LaVonda) and Stephanie Snyder (Lance). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
