She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Kilpatrick and Addie Mae Kilpatrick (Whitaker); her husband Harold Neal Bateman; her daughter Karen Bateman; and her siblings, Robert Kilpatrick, Cecil Kilpatrick, Genevieve Strickland and Mary Ann Hollowell.
She is survived by: her children, Janet (Clinton Rakowitz), Kerry (Teresa Bateman) and Alan (Lynn Bateman). She is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
