He was predeceased by: his brother Ricky Riley. He is survived by: his parents, Gordon Leslie Shepard of Cement and Joyce F. Shepard of Chickasha; his siblings, Rocky Shepard of Blanchard, Brad Shepard of Cement, Lori Higgins of Moore and Jennifer Short of Edmond; and his children, Leslie Meeks of Chickasha, Brandon Shepard of Shawnee and Chad Shepard of Chickasha. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
