With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Galen Leroy McLaughlin of Chickasha, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wilson McLaughlin and Lura Maude McLaughlin (Demott); and his brothers, Fred McLaughlin and Marvin McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Marjory A. Nelson; his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Vicki McLaughlin of Madill; his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Don Vitello of Chickasha; his stepdaughter Candia (Larry Smith) of Wichita, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Brandy, Quinton Roller of Sulphur, Chris McLaughlin of Grove, Heather, Daniel Kennedy of Tuttle, Lisa, Russell Boswell of Chickasha, April, Mike Dorsey of Park City, Brian and Tarin Smith of Eudora, Kansas. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and other extended family.
