He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Waldo Emerson Bishop and Mary Gertrude Bishop (Farris); his wife Lila Conover Bishop; and his siblings, Betty, Robert, Margaret, William and Linda.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Bishop (Sheila Bishop) of Kennedale, TX, Faith Bishop of Chickasha, OK and Elizabeth Gibson (Shawn) of Alvarado, TX. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sevier Funeral Home (702 W Chickasha Ave, Chickasha, OK 73018). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Maranatha Baptist Church (1505 S 29th St, Chickasha, OK 73018).
