She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Smith and Beryl Smith (Webber); and her husband Charles Porter. She is survived by: her children, Charlene Cantrell, Linda Robbins, Sue Beck, Melissa Brownen and Chuck Porter; and her brother Darrell "Bub" Smith. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
