She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland "Mac" Wash McKinney and Irene Elizabeth McKinney (Curry); her husband Richard Tanos; and her son Joseph "Tony" Powell. She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Randall Powell; her daughter Beth Wehling (Chris) of Newcastle; her grandchildren, Garrett Wade Ray of Newcastle, Morgan of Florida, Brittany of Florida and Jacob of Florida; her siblings, Leslie McKinney (Sheila) of Canada and Vianna Martin of Blanchard; her nieces and nephews, Doug Martin, Sharlet Yeargin (Brian), Beau Martin (Marissa) and Mary Martin; and her great-niece Desirae Ledbetter. She is also survived by other extended family and her many friends.
