He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gwartney; his children, Eugene Gwartney of Strong City, Kelley Gwartney (Karla) of Cheyenne and Cheryl Johnson (Jay) of Nowata; his daughter-in-law Sandol Johnson of Goodwill; and his siblings, Jimmy Gwartney (Marilyn) of Earlsboro, Bob Gwartney (Janet) of Hammon, Lois Powers of Del City and Joyce Ruch (Greg) of Edmond.
