He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Samuel and Ava E. Simmons; his former wife Jo Simmons; his wife Irene Simmons; and his sister Nova Leah Welch.
He is survived by: his brothers, Doyt Simmons of Woodward, OK, Ronald Simmons (Jo) of Mooreland and Elvin Simmons of Chester, OK; and his stepsons, Ryan Crain of Cordell and Darren DeLong of Yukon. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
