He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Stout and Irene York Stout of Lambert, Oklahoma.; his wife Evelyn Carpenter; his brothers, Bob Stout and Don Stout; and his granddaughter Natalie Stout.

He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Stout Stoval (George) of Hamlin, Rod Stout (Teresa) of Turpin, Tim Stout (Sharon) of Rogersville and Cindy Schanbacher (Monty) of Cherokee, Oklahoma.; and his grandchildren, Loretta, Miranda, Jason, Lisa, Chris, Travis, Karri, Nathan, Lindsey and Megan. He is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers Bill's family has designated memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Cherokee through the funeral home.
