It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veda LaVon Sharp (Cherokee, Oklahoma), born in Anthony, Kansas, who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Teddy Riley Humphreys and Veda Gertrude Claflin Humphreys; her sister Celestia Williams; and her niece Michal Gray. She is survived by: her husband Robert Sharp; her daughters, Robyn Rapp (Richard) and Kelli Gruber (Chad); her grandchildren, Ryan Stogsdill (Matt), Russell Rapp (Morgan), Cole Gruber (Ceshia), Kalli Mason (Grant), Austin Gruber and Kammi Gruber (Gage); her great grandchildren, Yana Young, Maddox Stogsdill, Sloan Rapp, Sam Mason and Charlie Mason; her nephew Jim Williams; and her niece Terrie Williams. She is also survived by her family, many friends, and relatives.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Hawley Baptist Church Scholarship through the funeral home.
