It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Ryel of Cherokee, Oklahoma, born in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Ryel and Edna Lee Ryel; his wife Laura Butler; his son Timothy; and his brother J. D..
He is survived by: his children, Terry Ryel (Sandra) of Cherokee and Tamara Goeken (Gary) of Cherokee; his siblings, Jack Ryel (Blanche) of Broken Arrow, Ronnie Ryel (Donna) of Tulsa and Neva Egner (Dan) of Alva; his grandchildren, Shelby (Jared Bates), Sadie (Stephen Cockrum), Jacob Goeken and Alison (Brian Gustus); and his great grandchildren, Adler, Hazen, Kelton, Truett Bates, Stanten, Sawyer Cockrum, Carter and Lauren Gustus.
Memorials may be given to Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children through the funeral home.
