It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Turney (Cherokee, Oklahoma), born in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 6, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Johnetta Woodward; his grandson Chet Quigley; and his siblings, Pearl Shuffield, Minnie Pack, Addie Voyles, Violet McClaine, Jim, Ralph, Carl, Othel and Jack.
He is survived by: his spouses, Darlene Williams and Leanna; his children, Randy Turney (Robyn), Darla Quigley (David), LaTeresa Anderson (Sequoyah) and Rod Turney (Linda); his stepdaughter Stefani Northcutt; his grandchildren, Brock Turney (Stephanie), Shelbey Anderson, Tasha Diesselhorst (Adam), Tana Gragg (Cody), Katie Quigley, Lynsey Cox (Wayne), Tye Turney and Taylor Turney; his great grandchildren, Tatem Turney, McKenna Turney, Cory Quigley, Creed Cox and Kynley Cox; and also Leanna Lawrence Northcutt.
