It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim White (Cherokee, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 14, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert White and Stella White (Folk); and his siblings, Gerald White, Bill Daniels and Pat Case.
He is survived by: his spouse Glennis Beatrice Winder; his daughters, Susan Jordan (Larry), Sandra Ryel (Terry) and Stephanie Jackson (Kelly); his grandchildren, Kaci Graves (Dee), Kurtis Goodwin (Jamie), Shelby Bates (Jared), Sadie Cockrum (Stephen), Ryan Jackson, Demi Cook (Casey), Garrett Jackson and Gavin Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Blythe, Brock, Cole, Caleb, Avery Graves, Koen Goodwin, Aubrey Marrero, Adler, Hazen, Kelton, Truett Bates, Stanten and Sawyer Cockrum.
Memorial Contributions may be given in his name to the Cherokee United Methodist Church New Building Fund, 400 S. Grand, Cherokee, OK 73728 or to the Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 515, Northampton, Massachusetts 01061-0515 Interment will follow in the Cherokee Cemetery.
