He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Benjamin and Mary Katherine; and his siblings, Willie Grace, Mary Jo, Lou Ellen, Joy Len (Donald), Joe Ben (Dorothy), James (Jean) and Jack (Dorothy).
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Barrett; his children, Steve Barrett of Cherokee, Keith Barrett of Waukomis, Lesley (Dirk Bagenstos) of Cherokee and Kelly (Jessica Barrett) of Cherokee; his brother Jean; his grandchildren, Jessica, Kyle, Gabby, Samantha (Scott), Sandra, Evan (Ragan), Avery, Skyler, Tyler, Savannah, Joshua, Caleb (Heather) and Chase; and his great grandchildren, Tesslyn, Tate, Marlin, Delta, Grayson, Kathleen, Samuel and Benjamin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
