He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hughey and Martha Rebecca Hughey (Hill); and his siblings, Ira and George-Ann Garrison. He is survived by: his spouse David Coleman; his cousin Colleen Alwood; his niece Erin Alwood; and his nephew Ira.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at 614 S. Grand Ave., Cherokee. A burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at the Cherokee Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Osu Alumni Center (201 ConocoPhillips, Stillwater, OK 74078).
