She was predeceased by: her husband Pete Smith; her parents, Floyd Hughes and Vivian Hughes; and her brothers, Jerry and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Ann Spradling (Harold), Lisa Elizabeth Mirelez (Bobby) and Michael Pete Smith (Connie); her nieces, Lori Hughes Wilcox, Abby Hughes and Robin Betchan; her grandchildren, Michael Scott MacGregor, Michael Pete Smith, Faith Elizabeth Mirelez and Rachel Lyn Mirelez; and her great grandchildren, Maddex MacGregor, Miles MacGregor, Madison MacGregor, Oren Smith and Grayson Sunday-Mirelez. She is also survived by several other nieces and friends.
