He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Loraine Atchley (Padget) and Rex Atchley. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Gorremans; his daughter Melissa Majors (Eric); his grandchildren, Alan and Alyssa Majors; his stepsons, Adam Calbreath (Joy) and Lucas Calbreath; and his siblings, Gary Atchley (Peggy), Perry Atchley, Kelly Walck and Jolene Stritzke (Tom). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, step grandchildren.
