He is survived by: his son Joe; his wife Mary Howell; his children, Kattie Prewitt, Charity Reed (Preston), Cassandra Holden (Gary), Mistie Huber (Jerome), Joseph Boss (ShanTeyl) and Lonnie Chaney (Raina); and his brothers, Ronnie Prewitt (Sherri), Troy Prewitt (Karen Greenwood) and Roy Prewitt (Sandy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
